The Title 1 program at Fairfax R-3 is headed up by Teacher Melanie Lucas.  It is the goal of the Title 1 program to help every child get a high-quality education.  Fairfax R-3 school district is a whole-school title program.  This means every student has access to Title 1 assistance.  We use a variety of student data to help identify which students are in need of additional support.  Assessment data used includes MAP Scores, NWEA Scores, STAR CBM Assessments, STAR/AR Scores, as well as a daily/weekly/monthly teacher assessments.
